VISHWAKARMA – Devshilpi । The Divine Architect VISHWAKARMA IS THE LORD OF ARCHITECTURE IN HINDUISM. HE IS ALSO KNOWN AS “DEVSHILPI” OR “ARCHITECT OF GODS”.  Vishwakarma is the architect of the gods and the god of architecture, building and crafts. He is also the presiding god of all engineers, architects, builders, carpenters, and craftsmen. Vishwakrma lives in Swarga and his mounts are a swan and an elephant. Vishvakarman is the divine carpenter and master craftsman who fashioned the weapons of the gods and built their cities and chariots. He is the architect of the mythical city  Lanka and is also said to have made the great image of Jagannath  at  Puri (Orissa).  He revealed the sciences of architecture and mechanics to humans and is the patron deity of workers, artisans, and artists. The unshakeable faith of believers is evidence that the disputed site in Ayodhya was the birthplace of Lord Ram. Ram Janm Bhoomi, the birth place of Lord Ram, has rather been known for some time for the famous Ayodhya dispute than a place of Hindu pilgrimage.  This is the place where Lord Ram was born and for ages it has been a sacred place for Hindus across the world. Some 2000 years back the then king Vrikamaditya re-established the city of Ayodhya and most of the temples here were restored. Sushma Swaraj Passes Away at 67 Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was admitted to the hospital around 10.15 PM on Tuesday night, from where she was taken to the emergency ward. The body of former Union minister Sushma Swaraj will be kept for three hours at the BJP headquarters on Wednesday for people to pay tributes. Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj passed away on Tuesday evening after a heart attack. She was 67. Swaraj served as external affairs minister in the first Narendra Modi government. She opted out of contesting the Lok Sabha elections held a few months ago citing health reasons. Her doctors had advised her to keep away from dust and infection. A diabetic, she had undergone a kidney transplant in December 2016.  Though Swaraj’s father was associated with the RSS, she began her political career with the Janata Party. Article 370 Revoked in J & K Article 370 scrapped , Jammu & Kashmir to be carved into two Union Territories. The Centre on Monday  scrapped Article 370  of the Constitution that grants special status to Jammu and Kashmir, with an order saying “it shall come into force at once" Parliament on Tuesday approved a resolution abrogating special status to  Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution and a bill for splitting the state into two Union Territories. The resolution was passed by Lok Sabha with 351 members voting in its support and 72 against it, while one member abstained. The bill to create two UTs ; Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh was passed in the House by 370 votes in favour and 70 against. The resolution and the bill were approved by Rajya Sabha on Monday . The government on Monday revoked some provisions of the Article 370 to take away Jammu and Kashmir's special status, and proposed bifurcation of the state into Union Territories of J

Breaking News : Article 370 Scrapped WHAT IS ARTICLE 370? Article 370 of the Indian constitution  gave special status to the region of  Jammu and Kashmir .  The article was drafted in  Part XXI of the  Constitution : Temporary, Transitional and Special Provisions.  The Constituent Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir , after its establishment, was empowered to recommend the articles of the Indian constitution that should be applied to the state or to abrogate the Article 370 altogether.
