Gangasagar Pilgrimage Gangasagar Pilgrimage- better known as "Gangasagar Mela" is the biggest attraction for hundreds of pilgrims and tourists during Makar Sankranti (mid-January). It is the biggest fair  held in West Bengal at Sagardwip, an island in the Sunderbans.
